Say hello to salty air and sunglasses! Celine 2022 spring and summer series brings French fashion to the shore. In the accompanying video directed by designer and photographer Hedi Sliman, the Mediterranean coast becomes a runway. The models wore the new Celine essentials, and followed the beat of Can's "Vitamin C", strutting among the local seaside attractions. The Baie des Anges collection pays tribute to Riviera's relaxed and refined style, reflecting its long history in modern French fashion.

As the main brand in any French women's wardrobe, Celine has perfected their mysterious, relaxed and sophisticated style. For us outsiders, it can only be described as "some kind of je-ne-sais-quoi". The Baie des Anges styling manual reflects the iconic French style through the balance between classic and casual. Loose jeans are paired with a tweed suit jacket, leather jacket and dress, and camouflage overalls are paired with a kitten heel. Like modern life on the historic seaside in Nice, the Baie des Anges collection is young and fresh, while easily maintaining Celine's eternal prestige.

The SS22 show was filmed on Promenade Des Anglais, showing iconic landmarks dating back to the 18th century-from villas and palaces to observatory. The manor houses artists, politicians, and even a frequent royal resort, which has become a hot spot in the upper class and a dream resort for others.

At the end of this year and looking forward to next year, what better way to start a new beginning than to celebrate the celebration? Acne Studios reimagined their storefront and unveiled a new look for its Greene Street location in the heart of Soho. In a translucent state of euphoria, the building is an extension of this famous fashion house, paying tribute to its exquisite and subtle temperament. In contrast with the sharp edges of the glass fitting room, the softness of the wool carpet runs through, complementing the juxtaposition of fashion itself.

To celebrate the opening, Acne Studios held a commemorative party and invited trend-setters in the city to participate. There are various party lovers wearing this season’s outfits, including Aquaria, Ella Hunt, Ajani Russell and Meadow Walker, to name a few. The celebration included a luxurious cocktail hour with Mona Matsouka and Bladee’s DJs, followed by an intimate candlelit dinner with friends and family in the fashion house.

Just in time for the upcoming holidays, Acne Studios not only celebrated their new storefront, but also provided a space for friends to celebrate and gather together. Although the celebration lasted only one night, this fashionable and novel space will continue to be the main element of the city in the next few years.

If you have ever revolved on any street in Los Angeles and New York, you will see the children with Marc Jacobs's soft side clothed in it. From series that highlight patterns, prints, colors and textures-formerly known as "polysexuality" and "genderless", this special series enters an infinite childlike euphoria, everyone is invited .

"Paradise" premiered in 2020, where it is known as the ever-evolving universe of Jacobs and Ava Nope, full of teenage dreams and eclectic pursuits. Since its launch, Jacobs has created some subversive works to recognize microcommunities (such as fans of "Virgin Suicide"), popular culture references, and individualism. Graphic cropped T-shirts, oversized hoodies, tailored jeans and accessories are inspired by the most popular grunge era of the 90s, dressed in subversive prints and a series of passionate colors. Relying on the strong nostalgia we look for during the pandemic, Heaven blends the boundaries of casual luxury, duality and non-dualism, and realism and fantasy.

For the well-known brand No Sesso, "No" is not an acceptable answer. The brand ignored all glass ceilings and history at New York Fashion Week in 2019, and launched another one-of-a-kind collection-a collection defined by richness and wealth, but still connected to the root of No Sesso that gives all identities and powers Together. background.

Series 4, "Ghetto Gold", made its debut at Art Basel in Miami, establishing that this collection is not only a garment that adds luster to our physique, but also a work of art that we should be proud to show off. "Ghetto Gold" brings us into a fascinating realm, where the only thing more dazzling than the silky textiles and sparkling jewels used in the design is the melanin of the rich body of each model.

Rejoice in the power and grandeur of "Ghetto Gold". The office had the opportunity to sit down and talk with visionaries and co-designers of No Sesso, Pierre Davis and Autumn Randolph, where we discussed the broader philosophies that strengthened the collection, and they designed the first ever complete fashion collection. Experience and so on.

Your latest collection "Ghetto Gold" is inspired by African Futurism. I think this is such a magical subject. Why did you decide that it is time to show this theme series?

Pierre-I think autumn and I tend to use African Futurism as the theme of each series. This series is different in styling concept-we want to do more advanced custom series, change the scope, rather than just make a ready-to-wear style series. But as far as Afrofuturism is concerned, this is the inspiration we have been looking forward to.

Can you tell me more about the series of movies shown with the fashion collection? What is the creative vision of this movie?

Autumn — The production company 3BLACKDOT found us. We have been working on the series for a while, but we don't know how to launch it. We are considering taking a certain type of photo and decided to shoot with a green screen. So we know that we must eventually find someone who can handle VFX effects, which actually takes a while. The inspiration behind it is—well, I think it’s always developing—but, of course, there is African Futurism behind all of this to support elegance and decadence, but there are also some of the more subtle or smallest pieces we have. We want to create the entire range from nudity to beauty-but in the same story. I want to learn more about how life begins, sacred geometry, so many dialogues and theories, etc. At this time we can only get so much from the movie, but I really like its ending. A bit like this interstellar, sci-fi world, very alien style-just these independent, dark spaces. It's almost like the movie "Interstellar", with all colors and many different elements.

I really like that many of the things you have done before are about having conversations in many different areas. In this series, there is a science fiction foundation and an in-depth study of historicism. I also appreciate the way you interact with art. Apart from clothing, what are the qualities of your work? To me, they are actually works of art, so what do you think makes them like this?

Autumn-because we are so artistic-we are like that!

Pierre-I also think that in this series, Autumn and I are inspired by the statue and how the costume is draped on the statue, and how it still shows drape under the hard texture. We were also inspired by other black artists, and just wanted to create an artistic and conceptual collection again. When you think of haute couture fashion, many are done by hand, and when you think of works of art, many are also handmade. So, this is another concept-we think everything is like a painting or sculpture. We want everything to physically look like it is installed or hung in the room.

Among the 19 looks that debuted, which one do you like best? Can you share the story behind it-the production process, the materials used, and the inspiration behind it?

Autumn-we already know. Asian look.

Pierre—yes, the original dress—we call it a long dress. This is a dress we started in 2020 for our show in February, and then we noticed that people imitated that dress a bit. So Autumn and I wanted to design a collection based on that dress. Instead of getting angry because people plagiarized, we just decided to challenge ourselves to make it better. The Asian dresses are black and covered with jewels. We have customized a built-in corset for it, and all the jewels have been carefully arranged. There is a lot of hand sewing, and it is really challenging to sew silk chiffon by hand. I want to say that my second favorite look is this fur coat worn by Cheyann. This is one of the works that we added to the collection later; we were like,'We need some coats; we need some dramatic collections. So I sew this fur coat by hand-no machine is involved, just my hands are sewn on that coat.

If you want drama, then a fur coat is perfect. I know that some of your past collections used some reused materials. do you have this?

Pierre — The handbags in this collection use recycled materials from the past few seasons. They are very cool patchwork bags that Autumn and I put together.

Follow the theme of this series again-what is the hopeful future for you?

Autumn-a future full of opportunities. Create opportunities and more resources to do this.

Pierre-When autumn and I were creating, we created based on a narrative and a story. Through this series, it shows the future of black elegance and beauty, and what we want our future to be. We communicate the future we saw at the time in each series we are assembling. We hope to continue to create these spaces with peace, opportunity, and a just life. Let everyone be able to exist in the way they want.

You are known for bringing people together in many ways, not just your inclusive design-but also through exciting parties, music, and even educational discussions. Do you have plans to further expand the scope of your work as a brand?

Pierre-In 2022, it would be nice to start an embroidery workshop again. I think everyone has just returned to the contact process, especially in Los Angeles. Therefore, in 2022, I will definitely see that we can have such spaces in which we can teach people and engage in other types of interactive activities with people in the community.

Autumn-and also further promotes the conversations we have created through the narratives we propose.
